Since that time things have calmed down, so I thought I would post this video which was shot during our visit to the EU. In this video we see Elise in two positions. The first is facing down, and the second is facing up. As you will see, Elise is suspended with springs that keep her floating in mid-air. This is a 5-part video from our archives, and probably the most crazy bondage scene we have ever done. It took a lot of people to pull it off. The factors that allowed this scene to happen all came together at one time. As I have said before, most if not all of the scenes we film come about organically. People come with some gear or ideas, we have the time, so off we go.
Our intern Petgirl Kako was going to leave us, so we decided to involve her in a bondage experience she would never forget. We pulled out our fiberglass casting tape, and the idea was to put her in a full body cast. But as we applied the fiberglass, we came up with another idea. We had acquired a strange rig from our friends at MedicalToys.com which we called the 'vertical wheelchair'. This unique device consisted of a metal platform on wheels, a back rest, and a second set of wheels higher off the ground which you could turn with your hands when standing on the platform. The higher wheels were connected to the lower wheels which would move the entire cart around. I have no idea what the origional use of this rig was, but we used it in this scene as well as a number of other scenes. So, once we had Petgirl Kako fully casted, we stood her up and strapped her to this 'vertical wheelchair' which allowed us to wheel her around with ease. A picture is worth a thousand words, so you'll just have to watch the video to see the vertical wheelchair in use. Naturally Petgirl's hands were not available to turn the upper wheels and propel herself around, so we pushed the cart around manually.
As you will see in the video, we had a number of guys involved in the casting, and we did the job on the back deck of the SeriousBondage Institute. It was a hot day with direct overhead sun, so we erected a metal frame and hung a plastic tarp over the deck to provide some shade. We have done this a few times in the past when we did full body casts. Casting outdoors is actually much easier than indoors.
I salute Petgirl Kako for remaining calm during this entire ordeal. This is mostly because she trusted us, and she had helped us do full body casts before. Once we were finished with her cast, the only part of her body that was left exposed was her eyes and nose. We decided to load her into MummyEd's van and drive her to the Castro district of San Francisco. This is the gay area of the City, and people in this neighborhood have seen it all. This update features a unique get-together at the SeriousBondage Institute back in 2008. We had a high-tech friend come for a visit who was into heavy rubber. He was a fan of the website and we met up with him in person so he could show us his rubber collection. This guy was one of my early meetings with someone who owned a lot of heavy rubber. At the time I was too busy running the websites to take much notice, but in the last few years I've become quite a fan of heavy rubber.

The first layer was a two-piece suit made by HydroGlove.com. HydroGlove has been around for years, specializing in molded rubber dive suits. A few years ago the owner passed away and we were all told HydroGlove was out of business, but I'm told that another guy came along and took over the business. The second layer on RubberBug is a StudioGum 'Rubber Prison' suit. This is a great one-piece suit which includes a hood. The StudioGum suit has a pair of white shoe laces hanging from the zipper pulls which allow RubberBug to get in and out of the suit by himself at home. So, once he's zipped in the StudioGum suit he is wearing 2 layers of rubber on his body, 2 layers of hoods on his head, 2 layers on his feet, and three layers of rubber gloves.
The third layer is a heavy rubber orange StudioGum inflatable suit. This suit has 8 individual inflatable bladders. You can see all of the inflation ports at the top of his shoulders. Before he's fully zipped into this suit another gas-mask hood is pulled over his head. This makes 3 layers of hoods on his head. The inflatable orange suit is really fun, especially in a swimming pool because it floats so well. You can see some videos of our pool parties with this suit by searching for the word 'pool' in the search box above. We use a small tire inflation compressor to inflate each bladder. Once the suit is fully inflated we have some fun with RubberBug by pushing him back and forth between us. We ask him to sit in a chair, and he folds his hands together in his lap. Then, without warning, BOiNG! His hands separate and his arms fly apart, sticking straight out on each side of his body. Hilarious!
The forth layer is a weird inflatable rubber sack with attached hood. However, before we put RubberBug into the sack, we slip inflatable StudioGum mitts over his hands, which already have 3 layers of gloves. So the inflatable mitts make 4 layers of rubber on each of his hands! Once the mitts are inflated with a small bulb, they look really great and match the rest of the suit in both color and size. So, once he's zipped into the inflatable sack we hood it up to the air compressor and fill it up. The last thing to inflate is the hood of the sack, so we use a bicycle pump for that. Done! What an awesome project. 4 suits, multiple layers, multiple hoods, and multiple layers on his hands. RubberBug was in rubber heaven. I would be to if I were in his position. And naturally it would be impossible for him to escape his heavy rubber cocoon. If we weren't shooting a video we would have left RubberBug in his rubber cocoon for a while. Maybe next time? This is a great example of a heavy rubber fetish.

Bondage videos don't need to be lengthy and complicated to arouse your fantasies. If bondage videos are planned and shot correctly, and the appropriate music is selected, they can grab your attention and mesmerize you with captivating imagery and sound. Well, at least that's the way I feel about it.
In this update we feature two videos that were created way back around 2004 at a dominatrix studio in the famous North Beach area of San Francisco. This was in the very early days of SeriousBondage.com. A friend of mine who was a professional broadcast television videographer had a little Sony DV camera and a few lights, and I knew a few people who wanted to be tied up, so we were off and running.
The first video features a truly fantastic piece of gear which I had custom made by Mr. S. It's a heavy leather female body harness. I got the idea from an old Centurians bondage catalog. The harness happened to fit our model KitNBoots perfectly. So, in the video she undresses and I put the harness on her, pull a spandex hood over her head, and then slip leather bondage mitts over her hands and lock them on with padlocks. The mitts prevented her fingers from getting into mischief. These mitts aren't made any more, which is a pity. Once the subject's hands are zipped inside the mitts, the mitts fold over and lock, which keeps the hands closed so the fingers can't he used at all. They feel fantastic and make you feel so helpless! After she has both mitts on and locked, I use handcuffs over the mitts to secure her hands behind her. The cool thing is that the leather mitts protect her wrists from the harshness of the metal cuffs.
Next, I use shackles to secure her ankles together, which are closed over her leather boots. The leather of the boots protect her ankles. the chain of the shackles is threaded around the chain of her handcuffs, which holds her in a hogtie. The wonderful thing is that there are no pressure points to this hogtie even though metal shackles are used, because her boots and mitts protect her from the harshness of the metal. This allows her to roll around and thrash about as much as she wants. In addition, she can pull her legs back and forth which makes a sexy noise as the ankle chain grinds against the short chain of the handcuffs as it passes through. How hot is that? All in all, KitNBoots makes a very sexy package as she struggles around on the floor. One additional comment - in the Centurians catalog where this idea came from, a dildo was inserted into the model's pussy and all the straps of the harness were pulled up tight, holding it deeply embedded. I didn't do this with KitNBoots, but I probably should have! C'est la vie!
The second video features our local friend in a Mr. S tight-fitting hood, straitjacket and unique leg binder which I got from a leather store in the Village in New York years ago. All in all, this video and the one above use leather and metal as the main components. My first interests in bondage were all about leather and metal since that was mainly featured and sold in the Centurians catalog mentioned above. I acquired a fetish for rubber and heavy rubber much later. If you are interested in seeing the various Centurians magazines and catalogs, do a google image search for 'Centurains bondage catalogs'. Your mind will be blown by how many kinky magazines they published in the 70's. As a young teenager my bondage fantasies were inspired by their magazines.
After we have our subject secured in the leather hood, straitjacket and leg binder, we slide him into a super-heavy steel cage and continue to restrain him with heavy leather straps (which are also from Mr. S). Once a giant padlock is used to secure the door of the cage, it becomes clear that this poor guy isn't going anywhere! This is an awesome display of 'serious' bondage' and I would gladly trade places with him any day! The mysterious images during this scene are indeed captivating.

Here's a cute little video featuring a young lady who was looking for a taste of bondage at the Institute. I wasn't around so Mummy Ed and Dalton put her in some of our gear. They started by giving her a ride in Dalton's garage door spring rig which became to be known as 'the floaty thing'. She's strapped up tight in a Maxcita sleepsack, with a Sinvention leather blindfold over her eyes. then suspended in the middle of Dalton's pipe frame. This is a pretty cool setup. The black bags hanging around the pipe frame are canvas bags filled with sand that Dalton used to balance the pipe frame.
Next, she's suspended from overhead in a Maxcita straitjacket. Notice how smoothly she rotates. This is due to a stainless steel ball-bearing swivel which is used for rock climbing. As you can see, these swivels are totally awesome for bondage suspension. Her legs are strapped together with HumaneRestraint straps, and her ankles are restrained with HumaneRestraint cuffs. Dalton hung one of the sand bags from her ankle cuffs to make it hard for her to lift her legs. Each sand bag weighs around 15 pounds. By the way, HandcuffWarehouse now sells Humane Restraint gear.
Then she was strapped into the famous Serious Bondage Chair. I built this chair years ago for my own self-bondage play, long before I started the bondage sites. I never thought the chair would get so much use by so many different people, and be in so many photos and videos. The chair has 16 or so leather straps which restrain all parts of the body. I made everything myself, including all the straps. The chair has an automatic self-bondage feature in which the two wrist straps automatically pull down tightly. You get yourself strapped into the chair, then the last thing you do is to trigger the wrist straps to retract, pinning your wrists. Cool, eh? The young lady is wearing a 'Bishop Muzzle' and leather helpless mitts from Mr S, She fits in the chair very nicely!
Next, Dalton and MummyEd strap her into a strait-back wooden chair using a ton of leather bondage straps from Mr. S. Her neck is held rigid by a heavy leather posture collar from Top-To-Bottom. As you can see, the collar is tall and very severe. He's gagged with a ball gag from Sinvention. Dalton has run another leather strap from the back of the chair, between her legs, and up her chest to a ring on the front of her collar. As the strap is pulled tight it puts pressure on her pussy. As Dalton rubs the strap with his fingernails the vibrations travel down the tight strap which stimulates her clit. Hot!
Lastly, Dalton, MummyEd and this young woman traveled to our friend Travis' house to a kinky party. During the party MummyEd mummified her in purple duct tape. There are a few still images of this in the update. She was then laid in one of Travis' real caskets. (Travis is into caskets, hearse and mortuary stuff) When you watch the video you will see Travis' secret bookshelf door to his playroom. How cool is that? There wasn't much light for shooting in his playroom, but you can see our young woman fully mummified and laying in the casket as the top is closed! Yikes!

Years ago now, we had a guy approach us, out of the blue, with an offer we couldn't refuse. His name was LockMeUp427. He was a fan of full-body casting and said he would buy all the supplies and show us how to do a full body cast if we did the cast on him. What an offer. Of course we said yes. LockMeUp had been casted before by Filador50 in Chicago, so he knew how to do it. Filador50 is probably the most experienced in full-body casting. If you look up his profile on FetLife you will see some eye-popping photos of his work. So, the 2-part video in this update is of the first fiberglass casting we had ever done. And to do a full body cast as our first fiberglass project was a serious undertaking.
Luckily we had a bunch of guys to help us with this project. A few of the guys including LockMeUp427 didn't want their face shown in the photos and video we shot, which made it a little hard to film the casting process. Also, we were new at shooting video, and we had an old camera. However, if you have never seen fiberglass casting, this video will give you a taste of how it works. The still images in this gallery are actually sharper than the video, so make sure you look at them to.
The cost of the casting supplies, including the rolls of padding, was around $400 US dollars for the full body. Naturally less complicated casts like covering the head, or arms, or hands, or legs, is less expensive. Also, if you really get into casting, you end up with extra supplies you can use on future casts.
If you do a search for the word 'fiberglass' at the top of this page you will find other videos we have shot of our casting adventures. Casting can be done with plaster or fiberglass. In the old days before fiberglass, hospitals used white paster casts for broken bones. Nowadays, fiberglass is available in many different colors which makes casting even more fun. The only warning is that a vibrating saw is needed to cut the cast off of your subject, and the cutting process can take quite a while and makes a big mess. Once we got the hang of fiberglass casting we purchased two vibrating saws in case one failed. We never liked the idea of calling the fire department to extract someone from a full body cast because our saw had failed. Also, we were worried that if LockMeUp panicked or had a medical emergency, we could use two saws at the same time to extract him. Sawing a full body cast off of of someone using one saw takes at least 45 minutes!
This video doesn't show the cutting of LockMeUp's cast, and it doesn't show the internal catheterization we did on him. Inserting the catheter was an experience all by itself. The catheter was sterile so gloves and sterilization procedures were required. As I look back on this scene, we could have used an external catheter on LockMeUp, but we didn't know that at the time. Check out the still images. We also had two medical tables which allowed us to move LockMeUp's body so we could continue wrapping the fiberglass down both of his legs. Without these two medical tables the job would have been much harder. Since our early casting experiment, many kinksters have tried fiberglass casting and have discovered new ways of doing full body casts, but if you look at the photos of Filador50's full body casts on FetLife you will see that he's still the expert. He's made wooden rigs for holding up someone in a full body cast which allows the subject to be changed from a sitting position to lying down, which helps prevent fatigue if the person is going to be in for multiple days.

For those who have followed this website, this video is an extension of Bondage Roadie's unbelievable adventure as a result of applying to Amanda Wildefyre's slave call on her website. You can see some of Bondage Roadie's experiences with Amanda in the recent updates titled '2009 New Years Eve At MedicalToys' and 'Asylum Diabolica Adventure'. Clearly, Bondage Roadie got the adventure of a lifetime. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and are grateful for his subsequent help on many of our bondage shoots.
Bondage Roadie was an easy going guy, which made it easy to include him in all kinds of bondage play. He was just a guy who happened to see the invitation on Amanda's website and had the time to join the adventure. In this video he tells Alice that he's 'just an accountant' but I know for a fact that isn't true!
In the first part of the video Bondage Roadie is riding in the backseat of an SUV with Alice his guard. He's restrained in police shackles and belly chain, with a black transport hood over his head and tube mitts locked over his hands. This gear was supplied by Yossie himself, but can be purchased from the Handcuff Warehouse. Alice loved this scene and played it up as much as she could without laughing. I was filming with the camera and Dalton was driving. This was a lot of fun.
Once we arrived at Yossie's house, I like how we filmed the garage door opening and the SUV backing in. While still hooded and chained, Alice pulls Bondage Roadie out of the SUV and guides him down the steep stairs into the secret dungeon playroom. From there Alice chains him to the wall in the jail cell and removes his hood, all the while continuing to badger him with insults. Although Bondage Roadie protests, you can see how he tests his mobility by pulling on the chains. I think he liked it, and I know that I like watching him test his pitiful limits. Notice that he can't reach the bars of the jail cell because his chains are too short. What a turn-on! Bondage Roadie tries lunging towards Alice but the chains and shackles stop him short of reaching her. Hot!
Next, Bondage Roadie is restrained to the bars of the jail with Humane Restraint cuffs and straps (which can also be found on Handcuff Warehouse), and a cool muzzle from Sinvention in Canada. Alice brings in her supervisor Mistress Liliane Hunt to meet the prisoner. As usual, Liliane puts on a great show with her sexy military leather, sun glasses and adorable British accent. I think that most of us would give up our secrets if we were interrogator by Alice and Liliane?
After experiencing the wrath of Mistress Hunt, Bondage Roadie is strapped into a white straitjacket and chained again to the wall, where he again tests the limits of his mobility. If you have ever had the opportunity to experience the limits of chains securing you to a wall, you will agree with me that it's an unusual and exciting feeling. As you can see, Bondage Roadie is exactly where he wants to be.
Finally, with Bondage Roadie still in his straitjacket and muzzle, Alice moves him into a small padded cell. This is a cool little cell with thick doors which are cut in such a way that allows them to mesh together and close tightly. Wow. What a night for our Bondage Roadie! I grew up thinking that girls weren't interested in bondage. I was bit by the 'bondage bug' when I was around 10 years old. I used some chains and pipe clamps to chair up the girl that lived next door to the swing set in our backyard. Medical Toys made a brief try at running a fetish website called Fetish Clinic, but it didn't take off and was closed a year or so later. Time passed, and eventually Anna Rose took over the domain name FetishClinic.com and started her own website under the same name.

This short and wacky video was filmed at MedicalToys.com when a number of us we were there for a NewYears party in 2009. I forgot we even filmed this video. The video features Nurse Mary of MedicalToys, Martin of RigidCuff, and our friend Alice. Martin had just moved from Germany to the US, and while he was waiting to marry his sweetheart we built this heavy steel cage in her garage.
Martin called himself a 'Bondage Engineer' and also referred to himself as the 'Master of Chaos'. I can attest that both of those are true. I can also point out that many of my friends who are attracted to serious bondage play, including myself, are a bit eccentric. Some more than others. I don't know where I fit on the eccentric scale, but I'm attracted to others who share my interest in over-the-top bondage gear like Martin, Jeff Gord, Maxcita, Bind, Yossie, etc. In any case, Martin never liked to be shown in our kinky videos which is why he didn't show his face in this video. Years from now, when we are dead and gone, Martin's machined aluminum bondage gear will be collector's items on display in a museum somewhere. And for those who see NC (numerically controlled) machined bondage gear made in China, remember that they are copies of Martin's original gear. 'Nuff said.

Ashley Renee is so much fun to tie up because she enjoys struggling helplessly. She's the ultimate damsel in distress. She knows exactly what men like to see, and at the same time she revels in her helpless predicament. She told me that bondage modeling is very satisfying for her, and I can believe it. Naturally she plays it up for our camera, but she is a true submissive.
In this fun video, Ashley is tied to a metal bondage chair by our rigger Dalton. Dalton has been a fan of Ashley for years, seeing her in magazines and early VHS videos. Our first introduction to Ashley was through Bob Zack and Gwen Media. My friend Travis and I drove to Los Angeles in a rental van full of gear with the goal of shooting with Bob in his studio. After we arrived, Bob said he had invited Ashley to join us. Ashley was so warm and nice that I asked her about shooting more with us in the future. The rest is history.
Although Ashley has worked with everyone in Los Angeles, I don't think she has ever worked with kink.com. Ashley likes bondage but isn't into SM. In addition, she doesn't like to travel, so it was considered a major event that she flew to Seattle to shoot with Jeff at the House Of Gord.
Even though we have filmed Ashley many times, in all kinds of gear, we never casted Ashley in fiberglass. We talked about it with her many times but never got around to it. Bummer. In this video Dalton uses a selection of HumaneRestraint straps and cuffs to restrain Ashley. Dalton connected some of the cuffs together to make them long enough to fit around Ashley's neck, torso and thighs. This is a great idea and allows the cuffs to fit around different parts of the body. We purchased a large number of these HumaneRestraints used on Ebay. It was clear that these restraints had been used for many years, and were well worn-in. If these cuffs and straps could talk I bet they could tell us some exciting stories.
